A candle simply illuminates the room, but a lantern illuminates the room with light and beauty!
One thing that can make your house sparkle with beauty is a simple Lantern!
I tried these ones in my spare time and they turned out a great decor for Diwali 🙂 Here’s what i did
All u need is card sheet, tissue papers, scissors and glue.
Step 1: fold the cardsheet as shown in the pic below.
Step 2: make any design on it. cut it in a pattern as shown in the pic below.
After opening the paper it should look like this:
Step 3: Glue a tissue paper on it and then cut it into two parts as shown in the pics below. Cut the extra paper from the sides to make it look clean n neat.
Step 4: Roll it and glue the ends. The tissue paper should face out and then it should look like in the pic below.
That’s it , your done with your mini lanterns. You can color them or put some decorative beads or something on it to make it look more colorful.
I used them on tea light candles.
